“Get a Brand-New Tooth … or Teeth”
If you are missing a tooth or several teeth, dental implants may be a good option for you. Dental implants are an effective, natural looking and long-term solution to replace missing teeth. For a single tooth implant, our dentists will customize a new tooth for you using implants as an anchor to hold a dental crown. The crown will be custom designed to blend in with your natural teeth. If you are replacing more than a single tooth, implants can be used to hold custom-made bridges or dentures. If you are interested in dental implants, set up a FREE consultation with your dentist.

What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a type of prosthetic teeth used to replace your teeth after they have been lost. Implants include two main parts — the implant post, which replaces your tooth root, and the implant restoration, which replaces the crown of the missing teeth.

How long do implants last?
Implants are intended to last for a lifetime. They require the same care as your natural teeth – good oral hygiene at home and regular dental visits. They are highly durable and have a success rate of over 95%.

Am I a candidate for implant dentistry?
Anyone who has lost a tooth is a candidate for a dental implant. However, before you can receive an implant, you will need to have good oral health as well as healthy supporting bone. Our dentists may recommend additional treatments such as bone grafting before you can receive an implant. Any preexisting conditions such as gum disease or tooth decay will also need to be treated before you can replace your teeth.

Are dental implants painful?
Your dental implant placement will be performed under local anesthesia and other sedation options and should be comfortable. You may experience swelling and discomfort following your procedure, but this can be managed with ice packs, over-the-counter pain medication and other remedies. We will provide post-op instructions to help you heal and recover as quickly as possible.

How long does the dental implant process take?
The length of your treatment may vary, and we will provide an outline of your treatment process and an estimated time of completion when you begin treatment. However, most implant treatment plans will take several months to complete as they require multiple stages, including your implant placement, healing time and the attachment of your implant restoration.
